SRS Crisafulli is a national and international company. Over 5,000 customers, large and small, throughout the United States and in many other countries have purchased our products. Crisafulli engineers, manufactures, sells, and services versatile high capacity pumps, dredges, power units, accessories, and spare parts, in both standard and custom configurations, to customers in six market segments. Crisafulli products are used in a wide variety of applications including transfer of fluids in large volumes, from clear water to slurries with high concentrations of solids in solution, and dredging of municipal and industrial wastes, including toxic and non toxic materials.
Over forty years, Crisafulli has earned a reputation for building versatile, rugged, reliable, long lasting high-value products supported by superior service, and leadership in its product groups.
The wide range of performance and application capabilities of the rugged, reliable Crisafulli Pump, Dredge, and Power Unit product line, each model of which can be customized to our customer's special requirements, provides our customers with what we call "The Crisafulli Advantage."
Over the years, Crisafulli has developed proprietary pump designs and manufacturing technologies. "Crisafulli Impeller Inside" describes our pump line - our trailer, vertical, hydraulic, submersible, and axial flow pumps. In most cases, a Crisafulli Pump is also used in Crisafulli Dredges. With a Crisafulli Impeller Inside customers are assured of rugged, versatile, high capacity pumps and pumping and dredging systems.
The Company was founded in 1966 by three Crisafulli brothers, Angelo, Frank, and Joe, in Glendive, Montana, which is still headquarters. One grandson of Frank Crisafulli is employed by the Company today. The original product was a patented double suction impeller used in high capacity pumps to irrigate family farms along Montana’s Yellowstone River. Early pumps were powered by tractors on the families’ and neighbors’ farms and ranches. The pump, sometimes referred to as a PTO trailer pump (for power take off) is still active in the product line.
Crisafulli is proud of its Montana heritage. For your pleasure, we offer scenes of Montana and the American West, its wildlife, mountains, rivers, and National Parks throughout this Web site.
Crisafulli’s versatile manufacturing capability is based on two fundamentals - practical people and flexible methods. Many of Crisafulli's manufacturing staff grew up on the farms and ranches in Eastern Montana. From this background they know how to use machines to solve problems. Crisafulli combines these talents with seasoned engineers who use modern design techniques to produce quality, reliable products. Crisafulli's manufacturing process results in unusual flexibility and low costs.
In 1982, Dick Memhard, through his firm, Memhard Investment Bankers, organized an investor group to buy the business. Since 1982, Crisafulli has grown approximately fourfold, broadened and improved its product line, developed a professional management team and the various systems required to function in today’s competitive international markets.
Founded with the technology of cutting, bending, and welding flat steel into finished products, Crisafulli began life as a fabricator. Fabrication of steel remains Crisafulli's core manufacturing process, supported, however, by engineering and assembly of complex electro/hydraulic systems, and the use of computers and modern software in the design process. Crisafulli uses independent contractors to broaden further its technological capability. Crisafulli’s engineering and manufacturing technologies enable the Company to build an exceptionally broad product line and to customize products for customers' special applications.
Financial Position
SRSC is conservatively managed. Two statistics provide a clear picture of the Company’s financial strength – our current ratio, current assets divided by current liabilities, and the coverage of current liabilities by our cash reserves. Our current ratio at June 10, 2007 was 3.5 to one, or almost two times as strong as the industry standard for manufacturing companies; at the same date, our cash reserves were 2.46 times our entire current liabilities. In addition, Rowland, Thomas & Company, CPAs and independent accountants of Miles City audit our financial statements each year.
Accordingly, our customers and suppliers should feel confident they are dealing with a financially responsible, conservatively managed business – SRS Crisafulli.
