SRS (sludge removal systems) Crisafulli’s new, improved, re-engineered dredge – the Rotomite 6000 TM

for Municipal, Industrial facilities Managers and Contractors

The Rotomite 6000 enables facilities managers and contractors to achieve lower costs and greater performance resulting in higher value – enhanced return-on-investment.  New features include:

bulletHigher torque cutterhead is driven by dual hydraulic motors delivers 11,000 inch pounds (1243Nm) of digging torque
bulletCrisafulli’s Cobra Cutterhead TM combines aggressive hardened teeth with a unique opposing auger design to drive dredged material towards the center of the cutterhead and directly in front of the pump intake for maximum capture of solids, highest efficiency and reduced turbidity.  Fully articulating, the cutterhead can be rotated 80 degrees to attack compacted, settled wastes.
bulletMultiple drive systems  Rotomite boasts on-board self propulsion or  you can run on a cable or  pivoting traverse system – all capable of variable speed forward and reverse functionality.
bulletShould the operator desire to use a traverse system rather than Rotomite’s self propulsion feature, Crisafulli’s proprietary Pivoting Traverse System TM enables the Rotomite 6000 operator to turn the dredge 180 degrees in minutes at the end of each pass without disengaging the cabling system --  thereby eliminating down time and improving productivity up to 40%.
bulletA 42% increase in engine horsepower (compared to the former Rotomite 180P) to 255 HP increases the power and productivity of all systems on the Rotomite 6000, including an approximate 50% greater thrust from the self-propulsion system.  The more powerful John Deere engine enables simultaneous operation of all dredge functions.  The increased thrust enables the self-propelled Rotomite 6000 to be used in a wider range of applications without the delays involved in setting up a cabling traverse system.
bulletA new operator cab (with air and heat) mounted forward on the dredge for greater  visibility, is accessible from either side of the dredge for improved convenience, productivity and safety.  Fingertip operator controls have been redesigned to reduce operator fatigue and improve operator alertness and productivity.
bulletSafety features include:
USCG approved safety equipment
clean, unobstructed decks
360 degree visibility
rapid access to all systems
a sturdy safety rail and secured entry points fore and aft.
bulletDurability.  All steel construction, TMT 601 Boride fusion coating available for extended life against abrasion.  Custom Rotomite 6000 can be built in stainless steel.
bulletProduction.  Crisafulli 6” discharge  J-Series pump can process up to 120 cubic yards per hour of sludge.  The cutterhead can be lifted above the water surface for service and inspection. Rotomite dredges to a depth of 19.5 feet. Greater depth capabilites are available in custom models.

As a Rotomite owner, you will appreciate ongoing support from both the Factory and our growing network of Representatives and Dealers.
