ELECTRIC FLOATING PUMPS - DIRECT
DRIVE
SRS Crisafulli Electric Floating Pumps are short coupled, vertical electric
pumps mounted on foam filled floating pontoons, which makes them ideal for
dewatering ponds, lakes & lagoons. Their floating design allows them to pump
from the top of a pond without disturbing the bottom. The pumps utilize a TEFC
electric motor, a shaft coupling, a BLD series bearing frame, tungsten/carbide
mechanical seal, mild carbon steel pump parts, adjustable pump support frame,
steel mounting frame and a foam filled pontoon platform manufactured from either
UHMW, high density, PE3408, polyethylene pontoons (black) (or 12 gage steel A36
steel pontoons). All steel parts are sandblasted and coated with grey epoxy
paint.
The Floating Pumps are available in 4 standard materials of construction; standard
duty: mild carbon steel (Brinell 150 hardness); severe duty: abrasion
resistant, heat treated alloy steel (Brinell 450 hardness); diamond duty:
ceramic plasma coated severe duty pump parts (Brinell 700 + hardness); and 316
stainless steel.

FLOATING PONTOON PLATFORMS
SRS Crisafulli Floating Pontoon Platforms are manufactured 8' wide with
foam filled, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (black) pontoons,
(see Drawing #CPC-90250.) A lifting eye is located in each corner.
Optional expanded steel decking or yellow fiberglass non-skid bar grating
can be added. Optional aluminum pipe (or steel tubing) hand railing &
steel toe plate can be added which includes a chained access way on each
end. The system is painted with gray epoxy.

CRISAFULLI™ POLYETHYLENE MODULAR PONTOONS
SRS Crisafulli Modular Pontoons are blow molded from
ultra high molecular weight, ultraviolet stabilized polyethylene and are
foam filled with high density urethane for added protection. They are
available in 17 inch and 26 inch diameter (nominal) for different
flotation arrangements. They are molded with integral bolting flanges for
easy mounting to steel, wood or aluminum frames. Each pontoon section has
molded stabilizers for added stability and safety.

SEVERE DUTY INDUSTRIAL FLUMP™
Unmanned, remote, cable controlled, SRS Crisafulli FLUMP™ Small
Dredge systems will excavate & pump slurry and sludge from municipal
lagoons, settling ponds, tailings ponds, water features, storm water
ponds, wastewater & water treatment lagoons, et cetera. A complete
FLUMP™ system package should include a FLUMP™, floating discharge line
and a cabling system. The FLUMP™ excavates & pumps the silt/sludge
into the floating discharge line which conveys the material to the shore.
The FLUMP™ is positioned throughout the work area using one of our
manual or electric positioning systems. For further assistance in

PIVOTING
TRAVERSE SYSTEM (patented )
Some
dredge manufacturers claim full pumping rate in reverse, but few can deliver on
the promise of a 100% efficient dredging operation while reversing &
repositioning. In a pond 400 feet
long, with the dredge reversing at a speed of 7 feet per minute, time
repositioning between each forward pass can be up to 57 minutes.
The
new SRS Pivoting Traverse System is a patented time-saving device that can be
added to your dredge. This unique dredge operating system enables the entire
dredge to pivot at the end of each forward dredging pass.
Time required to pivot 180 degrees: approx. 1 minute.

U-SERIES FLUMP™ CUTTERHEADS
The
SRS Crisafulli U-Series Cutterhead, with its dual opposing auger sections
and removable, hardened digging tines, breaks up and then conveys material
to the pump suction, ensuring the highest solids production rates.
Crisafulli cutterheads are equipped with an effective shroud to minimize
turbidity and maximize solids capture. The cutterhead is driven by a
hydraulic, high torque, low speed motor providing 2700 - 4500 in.-lbs.
